ABOUT US

Technovent is a developer and manufacturer of magnetic retention systems for dental and craniofacial use. In 2007 it was taken over by MBI Ltd, a manufacturer of adhesives and silicones for craniofacial prosthesis. The next 10 years saw a significant restructuring and expansion of the company which opened up major new worldwide markets.

Today Technovent is one of the leading worldwide manufacturers and suppliers of maxillofacial prosthetic materials. Its' own brand silicone elastomers, adhesives, colours and MagnaCap magnetic retention systems are sold to over 70 countries worldwide and the company has always worked closely with the end users to help in the selection of the correct materials for the clinical situation.

The directors of the company have a background in university-based research and training of the end user has always been at the centre of what Technovent strives to do. To this end we offer full 3–4-day training courses at our facilities in the Bridgend several times a year and perform workshops and shorter training courses at all the major worldwide maxillofacial rehabilitation conferences

Research and development has always been at the heart of the Technovent ethos and this has led to the development of many innovative products over the years. In addition, strong relationships with UK Universities has led to collaborative projects leading to innovative products in the areas of biosensors and trauma simulation models.

Embedded in all our development and production activities is our Quality Management System, where we are certified to ISO 13485. We also are fully compliant to the new EU MDR regulations, are fully FDA approved and hold many other medical device certifications for the sale of our products worldwide.
